Travel 101

Basic Rules of Traveling

As a traveler, I've developed my own style/ideas in terms of how to be organized on my travels bringing only the essentials and not the entire closet.  It was hard at first since I would end up bringing more than what I actually needed. It was stressful knowing that on your way back you will have to carry extra load like gifts/pasalubongs for friends/family and your luggage was already heavy.

That's why I have these pointers for myself and I want to share it to the world hoping it will help you guys out there 'cause, in any destination you will be these things are certainly a must that should be checked and take into consideration at all times.

Here are my top five pointers when travelling:

1. Travel Lite!
- Pack light clothing (shorts, leggings, dresses, skirts e.g. ) and try to avoid bringing bulky things. Pack only what’s essential, of course you don’t want to consume your luggage with your old clothing, right? You need a space for your shopping! For toiletries, sachets are better than bringing large bottles and for all other liquids, make sure it’s 100ml BELOW.

2. Check Identifications!
            - A very important thing to keep close in case you get lost!

3. Money down!
- Bring extra money. Always! Of course, ATM’s and credit cards are not always available to wherever you’re headed, so an extra cash is a must to avoid further delays and inconveniences on your part and others joining you. You don’t have to use up all bills that you brought on your travel, but just keep it close to you, just in case.

4. Watch for signs!
- As a traveler, you have to know the hot spots of your area, (food, toilet, entertainment, bazaar, tourist attractions e.g.) because after all the day tours, you need to have time to explore the place on your own. Prepare a map. Research. Check the blogs. Bring first aid medicine. Be in the know.

5. Lastly, Enjoy!!!
- Keep aside all the workloads, the deadlines, and the worries at the back of your mind. Remember that you are having a trip for you to enjoy and think of nothing else but pure self satisfaction!

Now you know, schedule a trip!!!!
